SALINAS, CA — Infusing his campaign with another healthy dose of momentum, today California Latino Legislative Caucus Chair and Assemblyman Luis Alejo won a crucial law enforcement endorsement from the Monterey County Prosecutors’ Association as he seeks to represent Monterey County’s 1st District on the Board of Supervisors.

In a letter sent to the Alejo for Supervisor campaign, the Monterey County Prosecutors’ Association wrote:

“We believe that your knowledge of the issues facing law enforcement is far superior to the other candidates. You have consistently demonstrated a willingness to work together with all sides of an issue to reach a fair and reasonable solution. Your ability to achieve compromise, where no compromise is apparent, is unparalleled.”

Recently, Assemblyman Alejo was also endorsed by the Monterey County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association.
